Personal Statement
Ivan graduated from the renowned Kiev Technical Institute and at first was an android developer who branched out into quality assurance and then founded his own company Demigos. Within three years, Demigos grew to a full-stack development team of twelve employees. Demigos has been reponsible for developing all the software for Wendy's Team including an iPhone app, a website that integrates the client and team member experience with an administrative backend allowing for visit request management, secure payments processing and automated notifications among many functions.
Personal Statement
I have been an internal medicine physician for over ten years and saw first hand how difficult it is for families to find trusted, reliable and quality care for their elderly loved ones. I am immensely proud of our Team Members who come from diverse walks of life but are united by a shared vision of making a difference in the lives of our seniors and to do so in the most caring and compassionate way possible. I personally interview, select and train all our Team Members. I believe that getting high quality home care should be as easy as one-click shopping. Therefore we created a tech platform that enables our client families to book, manage and pay for visits as simple as hailing an Uber.
Personal Statement
Tish moved to Denver to be closer to her daughter in 2014. Tish completed training in 2016 to be a licensed medical aesthetician and is looking forward to providing skin care services to her private and Wendy’s Team clients.
Tish also loves cooking and among her many accomplishments in her colorful past, she owned three restaurants, a window cleaning company and was a franchise owner of a Curves gym. Other interests include gardening and taking her dog out for walks. Tish is one of our most experienced Team Members in eldercare.

Personal Statement
Laura is a retired registered nurse who has not only worked in a number of clinical settings (intensive care unit, rural hospital, trauma and neurosurgery special unit) but also distinguished herself in the nursing profession as an educator, clinical coordinator and member of multiple committees ranging from education, patient satisfaction, pain management, and medical ethics. She was a speaker at the national level for the National Organ and Tissue Collaborative.
Laura also spends countless hours doing volunteer work for the Denver Botanic Garden, Women's Homeless Initiative and Project Cure and a homeless shelter for women and children. Her other interests include gardening and ushering and patronizing our local theaters.
Personal Statement
Heather balances her work hours between Wendy's Team and Continuum where she is a caregiver for disabled and developmentally delayed adults who live in a group home. Prior to jumping into caregiving, Heather was a librarian for Denver Public Libraries and specialized in adolescent literature. Among Heather's interests are traveling, cooking and spending time with her puppy Mage.

What Is The Best Part Of Wendy’s Team: The care and consideration given to the clients
Sydney lived in the mountains near Vail for 25 years, where she and her late husband owned
an art gallery and iron-working studio. She moved to Denver to get away from the snow and
the isolation in 2005. She ushers for The Newman Center and Curious Theater, is a docent
for Denver Botanic Gardens, and co-gardens with a friend.
She loves living in the city,
and she feels privileged to have spent so much time living in the high country.
She has a grown son and daughter who live in other states. She chose Wendy’s Team
because she wanted to work part time, and wanted work that would have heart and meaning.
Personal Statement
April found out about Wendy's Team through our veteran Team Member Heather. They had both worked at Continuum as caregivers for developmentally delayed adults in a group home settings. At that time, April was working part time at the Denver zoo and was looking at a part time position where she could continue taking care of adults. Among April's interesting accomplishments is through-hiking the Appalachian Trail with her boyfriend Jake.

Zoe is a Denver native and after graduating from college, she was inspired to become a physical therapist. She is an avid skiier and also works at the Loveland ski shop. Between doing part time work with a chiropracter's office and Wendy's Team, Zoe is in the process of fulfilling the applications requirements for PT school. We wish her all the best in her pursuit of her career.

Taylor went to college in Florida where she met her best friend and veteran Team Member Andrea. Andrea convinced Taylor to move to Denver and work for Wendy's Team. The rest is history.

Gayle began with Wendys Team as frontline team member. She has gradually worked her way from on call manager and now is the Operations Manager of Wendys Team. Gayle's background is in Nursing. She has worked in the health care field for over 25 years. At the young age of 14, she helped care for her grandmother. This is where Gayle's love of caring for others came from.
In the freetime she loves being outdoors, fishing and spending time with the family.

Elizabeth is a native of Colorado. She is 23 years old and the mom to lovely 1 year old baby boy. Elizabeth is in her second year of nursing school at Front Range Community College. Wendys team allows her the flexibility to attend classes in between clients. Elizabeth has been working with seniors for three years and has been with Wendys Team for the last year. Elizabeth has identify one of her favorite clients. She chooses to be apart of that clients team, regularly. Elizabeth is such a hard and dedicated work for Wendys team. Clients and families frequently request Elizabeth.

Jackie speaks with so much enthusiasm and dedication for her clients here at Wendy's team. Jackie has been with Wendy’s team since the beginning- 2015. Jackie states “you grow to love them.” She is inspired and enjoys learning and sharing with her clients.
When asked to be an ambassador for Wendy’s team, Jackie states, "I will do anything to promote Wendy's team” This is the culture Wendy’s team is proud to be a part of.

Lori worked in the food and beverage industry for 22 years. And after losing her mother to pancreatic cancer, she decided to go into the caregiving industry. Both of her parents have been telling her she should be a caregiver. She has what it takes. She has been in the caregiving industry for three years now and two of them have been with Wendy’s Team .” And she couldn’t ask for a better team to be a part of.
Personal Statement
Jake is our “muscle man”. Jake is our “go to” person when clients need help with lifting, gardening, yard work or household repairs. Jake is quite the comic and is great at bringing out laughter from our clients who might be lonely or depressed.
Jake’s professional experience has been mostly in landscaping for large venues such as resorts and golf courses. Currently he does this kind of work for the Denver Zoo.

Desiree started her journey of caregiving with the care of her grandfather and then the care of her friend's mom, who had dementia. Desiree has worked as a caregiver for 7 years, and has been working with Wendy's team since October of 2019. She has worked with a couple of clients till their passing and continues to work with other client at Wendy's team. She has built a caring and long lasting relationships with Wendy’s team clients and their families. Desiree is a the type of team member we are proud to work with at Wendy's team.
Desiree enjoys working for Wendy's Team so much she referred several of friends and family members to the team as well.
Personal Statement
Juliet has probably the most diverse work background of all our Team Members. She continues to work part-time at the Douglas County Libraries but before that, she worked as an event coordinator, executive assistant, counselor, in sales and in government agencies including the Colorado Health Department and the Better Business Bureau. She also worked for the Sunflower Farmers Market and National Jewish Health. Juliet has coordinated many volunteer events. Juliet loves adventure and seeing new places. One of her favorite travel companions is fellow Team Member, former librarian and friend Heather who referred Juliet to our Team.
How we Select and Train our Team Members
Every applicant undergoes an interview process and if they are felt to be a good match for Wendy's Team, they are invited to attend an in-person training.
Not all applicants who interview and attend training end up working for Wendy's Team. Selected Team Members undergo background checks that confirm identity and review court records and driving history.
